We actually use Novell GroupWise 7, and just want to know if the newer

It does with some very important caveats.

In Exchange 2003, Distribution lists were expanded and the membership
count of the list wascounted against that max count. IOW, if a list
had 300 members, that number was counted in the max recipient count.

In Exhcange 2007, that is no longer the case ( reverting back to 5.5
behavior), a DL is counted as 1 recipient. ( Unless the user expands
the list in Outlook).
