Re: Problems to Move All Replicas (PF) to Exchange 2007

Try the following from Andy's PF troubleshooting steps. If there's not
too many left, I would just export to pst and import to Exchange 2007
PF store.

1. Set the default replication time for the 2003 and 2007 public
folder stores to 1 or 2 minutes during the transition rather than the
default of 15 minutes. No reason to wait that long.

2. If the item counts do not match after resending changes, check the
message tracking logs on the hub transports, focusing on message
failures. Some public folders barf during replication and the folder
content messages get dropped by the store driver on the HTs. This is
a bug that will hopefully be fixed.

3. If you are running AV on the HTs, they may drop pf replication
messages as well.

4. If all else fails, and you cant get a folder to replicate and get
the item counts to match, export it to a pst from the 2003 server in
Outlook -- using an account that has its default public folder store
set to the 2003 pf store , then reimport with Outlook using an
account that has its default public folder store set to the 2007 pf
store.

Hello

I am trying to remove Exchange 2003 from our Organization.
Couple of weeks ago we replicated almost all of our Public Folders to Exchange
2007.
Now we whant to remove Exchange 2003.
We have 3  Exchange 2003 servers with PF on all.
When i choose to Move All Replicas all the folders hierarchy is copied to
Exchange 2007.
When i look under Public Folder Instances som folders are left and wont replicate
to Exchange 2007.
These folders are replicated before to Exchange 2007 but i dont know if they
are complete.
When i compare the size on the folders left under Public Folder Instances
to the folders on Exchange 2007 its bigger on Exchange 2007.
I have waited almost one week now since i used Move All Replicas.
Is is recommended to remove the Replica from Public Folder Instances?

I have set the logging on all Exchange 2003 servers to maximum for:

Replication AD Updates
Replication Incoming Messages
Replication Outgoing Messages
Non-Delivery Reports
Replication Backfill
Replication General
Click Maximum, and then click Apply.

From Event Viewer on Exchange 2003 i am getting this:
