file name change
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
We have an application that generates emails in outlook on client machines
and attaches a PDF file to the message. User may sometimes change a subject
of the message or add a line of text.
PDF files get named using the following rule FILENAME.001.PDF,
FILENAME.002.PDF.
Sometimes we may get the following email back
" The message below (subject: "") that you sent was not delivered because
it contained one or more prohibited attachments. The prohibited attachment
filenames are below"
Which indicates that receiving end has some type of the filtering system
that prevents attachments with 001 as an extension. So my question is would
it be possible to modify the file name attached to the message that passes
enterprise version of exchange 2003 if file name contains two dots in it?
