hi there,
for no apparent reason, i started to get permission problems on managing
our
exchange 2007 (on windows 2008) server.
I am logged in as domain admin. that administrator is part of the
exchange-organisation administrators group (sorry, installation is in
german, I might miss the correct english term).
recently I am getting access errors for standard tasks, like adding
mailboxes or accessing some functions.
the error message basically says that I do not have the permission to
perform the action:
Active Directory response: 00002098: SecErr: DSID-03150E8A, problem 4004
[INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS], data 0
again, I am logged in as administrator, a user that is part of the
exchange
organisation administrator group, but also member of the domain admin
group.
what is going on here?
any pointer is very much appreciated.
thanks
dan
Try it with an account that isnt a member of any elevated groups (
domain admin, enterprise admin etc...) but is also an Exchange Org
Admin.
