Hello,
I have a strange problem I can't get to the bottom of.
I can set this IPHONE up to receive email fine from my Exchange 2003
server using MAPI, but when I enter another user (the one that needs
to be setup on this phone) it fails and says "invalid user name or
password". The thing is, I had the right credentials in the phone and
even created a brand new test user to test it with. I then replaced
the test account I setup in the phone with the other users credentials
only, I didn't touch the server name or any other config, just the
user credentials and bam..it worked.
I checked the users accounts in AD replicated all account rights etc
on the test account and original one that needs to be setup and it
still didn't work.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve
Hi - I don't know what you mean by MAPI here. Your iPhone (ver 2.x) can
natively communicate with an Exchange 2003 server via ActiveSync. I suggest
you start over and set up the user you wish with an Exchange account on the
iPhone - if you have problems I suggest you post in
microsoft.exchange.mobility and provide more details, such as your SSL
config, etc.
