The point being Paul, that unless you have some specific reason, there is no need to create a new AD domain. You are creating a lot of work for you, and a lot of pain for your users.
You could just add the new server to the existing domain, DCPromo it, transfer the FMSO roles to it and demote the old DC.

there is the need cos the present server is old and full of problems and purchasing a new server is not a problem cos its needed for performance and reliability

Yes since I will be moving to a new physical server I want to create a new domain as well with new usernames etc but will be using same data so I will need to connect both servers together to transfer data
