Re: Stumped

Thanks for your comment Dan.. see my first reply "The log and the error code 0xC1037AE6 clearly suggest that there is a
problem with the ldf file itself." this is exactly what I wanted to point out but probably it was not paraphrased correctly... Good to hear that your problem is fixed by the ways.

Thanks

Man, it always seems to be the last thing you check...
So, after seriously eliminating a ton of other error messages and thinking I
was so close to the actual problem... I thought to myself, self, what about
the actual install code for Exchange? It's the one thing that hasn't been
replaced in all this... so, after finding a new CD all is working. The funny
thing is that the "corrupted" install code was on a file share so who'd have
thought that would be "bad"?
Absolutely unreal.. oh well, I suppose that just shows to always check the
simplest things first!
Thanks again for the reply!

My apologies for reading your first post incorrectly. I mixed up two
different things within two different posts. also, don’t worry about that
F:\titanium thing in setup log it’s the temporarily created location...
there is nothing actual as F:\ (this is different than your physical drive
if you have a drive installed and has letter assigned as F:)
