Hi Ed,
I understand what you are saying. However, i find this (Pulic Folder) to be
the best out of the two for our situation here.
Therefore, going back to my original problem, shouldn't the systm send the
resource details (resource name) in the moderator notification? I was
expecting From: field in the moderator notification to contain the resource
name, just like the user notification.
By the way, we are running Exchange 2003 (pathced) and clients are Outlook
2007.
Thanks and Regards

Conference room booking has never worked well with public folders. Outlook

I am scratching my head for one full day but can not figure out what is
happening/missing.
I have a conference room set up as a Moderated Public Folder. When user
Joe
Blogg make a reservation, the user receives the notification (receives
from Confernce Room-1). However, the notification email received by the
moderator (receives as mail from Jo Blogg)n with booking request content
in
the mail body. However, there is no way to identify that the booking
request
has been made on Conference Room-1. So, the moderator does not know which
resource the booking request is for.
I am assuming that the system transmits this information (Resource name)
automatically?
Thank you muchly in advance.

We had this problem as well. The solution discovered is to instruct
the requestor to enter in the the location field, the location of the
room requested for the reservation. The Moderator recieves the request
and moves to the specfic room.
