Hello,
I have an Exchange 2003 Environment that I'm moving to 2k7 and will be in
co-exestiance mode for a while. I just installed my new 64bit server, and
did the pre-reqs. for Exchange 2k7.
I found conflicting articles on "AD prep" commands that needed to be run.
So I settled on setup.com /PrepareAD. I was under the impression that
that
also invoked /PrepareLegacyExchangePermissions.
Once that was done, I installed Exchange.
What about /PrepareSchema and /PrepareAllDomains?
I'm not using anything in Exchange 2007 at all yet.. should I uninstall
and
run through the commands again in order?
Those commands were run automatically when you installed Exchange.
If you have more than one AD domain, you'll need to run the
/PrepDomain command in each one where you'll have mail-enabled users.
