Hi,

Whenever accessing OWA externally, and internally(it does work
however with a certification error) it redirects it to the netbios
name of the server
https://server.domain.local/exchweb/bin/auth/owalogon.asp instead of
https://mail.domain.com/exchweb/bin/auth/owalogon.asp.

I have created an internal DNS zone called domain.com and added a Host
record called mail which points to the IP address of
server.domain.local.

Im pretty sure its a DNS problem but cannot figure out how to get OWA
to redirect to mail.domin.com instead of its netbios name.

Any help is much appreciated.

James

I'm presuming you're using a self-signed SSL cert. How did you create it,
and what is it called?
