Hi there!
This one is known but strange and I've tried some things posted here.
Server: Exchange 2k7
Client: Outlook 2k7
The OOF is still sending messages after it's been deactivated in Outlook
2k7. OWA also shows deactivated.
/cleanrules didn't fix the prob. Switching on/off didn't work.
Switching it on with a new message didn't work either. OOF is sending the
old message and ignores the new message! It just doesn't care.
I've tried something else. I logged on to a PC with Outlook 2k3 installed to
check the OOF status there.
And guess what: although it's been deactivated in 2k7 it shows activated in
2k3. After deactivating it in Outlook 2k3 the OOF stopped sending the
message immediately.
Here are some details:
former server Exchange 2003
Migration to Exchange 2007 on a new Server (Hardware). Migration took place
several months ago.
Actual status: Exchnage 2007 SP1 + all available updates, Outlook 2k7 also
up to date.
Any ideas why we have to use Outlook 2003 to deactivate the OOF properly?
Might an update for Exchange 2k7, Outlook 2k7 be the problem?
Using Blackberries?
.
Thx
Steve
