Re: Public Folder Instances

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Sounds like the replication didn't correctly complete.

If you check with pfdavadmin what the replica state is, perhaps you'll find an inconsistency that can be resolved. Want to make sure that the replica list doesn't still contain the old server.

There are some other tricks too if that doesn't do it.

Thank you for your reply. These are not the system folders; they are four of
the public folders that I migrated to the 2007 server. I migrated a total of
about 220 public folders, but these four are for some reason giving me a
problem.

In case it matters, I migrated these by replicating them over to the new
server, setting all mailbox stores to use the new server for public folders,
then deleting the public folders from the 2003 server. On the 2003 server,
there is nothing listed under the "Public Folders" folder; these four exist
under the "Public Folder Instances" folder.

Thanks again for your help.

what public folders are they? The system public folders?
