Hello,
I am posting this hoping to get some step by step instruction on how
to do the following.
Currently users can access OWA by typing mail.mydomain.com/exchange I
would like to change this so that instead users can just type in
mail.mydomain.com and get the prompt for the username and password.
I have been searching for this in the groups and have found several
post regarding the fix but usually they are links to site that are no
longer valid. Or the answer is very general skipping any details that
a newb like me would need to complete the instructions given. If
anyone could post a step by step to change this in exchange I think it
would not only help me but many others who are trying to change this
as well. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks in advance,
Although I don't have that specific answer for you;
have you considered a redirection in IIS? I've used this in Exchange
2003 and now use it with Exchange 2007, and I find it a good and solid
workaround

I have considered redirection in IIS but I am unsure off how to do
it. I can not seem to locate the correct area to change the page. If
I enter mail.mydomain.com right now I get "Page Underconstruction"
which is the IIS start page. I have found that on exchange but am
unsure what I need to change to send the traffic directly to /exchange
instead of to the IIS start page.
