Re: Unable to view Public Folder for Exchange Server 2007 at Internet Explorer

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I try it in office, the Server is directly connected to LAN and use the URL:
https://mail.internetdomain.com/public. It show the page correctly, however
the URL automatically become https://servername.domain.local/owa/........

In office it is working fine because the <servername.domain.local> can be
able to resolve to correct ip address such as 192.168.100.100.

While i try at home, since the URL become https://servername.domain.local.
The client PC unable to resolve a correct ip, that's why the page cannot
show correctly.

My situation:

AD Domain name: domain.local
Full Computer name: servername.domain.local

Internet domain name: internetdomain.com
Internet hostname: mail.internetdomain.com

I use the URL:
https://mail.internetdomain.com/public

I seems redirect the URL to
https://servername.domain.local/owa/..........

Since servername.domain.local is not a valid URL in Internet, I was
unable
to view public folder from Internet.

It is working fine for private mailbox using URL:
https://mail.internetdomain.com/owa

Is some of setting in the Exchange Server to redirect the URL?

The /public URL doesn't work any more. You need to go to /owa and click on
the PF button.

Im my experience it still works - assuming the CAS role is installed
separately from the mbx role.
