Custom - user can create items and view folders. I have confirmed that
emails sent directly to the public folder works properly.
Additionally, i have added myself to the global distribution list and I
don't recieve external emails sent to that dl address either.

Hi Everyone,
I am currently running Exchange 2003 sp2 on Win 2k3 sp1.
For the reason of flexibility of distribution group memberships, we have
some public folders that are a part of a distribution list. I have
already
confirmed that these public folders have the proper permissions and I can
successfully send email directly to the public folder, ex:
publicfolder@xxxxxxxxxx
I am experiencing issues where the public folder will not recieve an
external email sent to the distribution group it is a member of, depending
on
whether it's universal or global, ie: dg@xxxxxxxxxxx Universal works,
global
does not. Is this by design? For some reason, I though both worked (or
at
least used to).
Thanks in advance!!
