Hello Mike,
Thank you for your update.
I'm glad we find the resolution of this issue. I appreciate your time on
this issue.
Additional suggestion, I think you can access your mailbox thru Outlook
from another workstation without install Exchange Management tools, then
export emails to PST.
I'm glad to hear that things are working correctly for you now. Please do
not hesitate to post in SBS newsgroup if you need any assistance in the
future. I look forward to working with you again.
Thank you and have a nice day,
Sincerely,
Terence Liu,

| Thank you, Terence, that did the trick. I set the three McAfee services
to
| disabled, then rebooted, killed the shstat.exe process (could have done
that
| via msconfig, but this was just easier), stopped the SMS services my
company
| had installed, and then successfully exported the mailbox to PST.
|
| The whole process will be kind of annoying if I have to do it often,
since
| running without antivirus is not really an option these days. Maybe I'll
try
| creating a dedicated folder for the export files, and make an exception
for
| that folder in McAfee.
|
| Thanks,
| Mike
