Exchange 2007 export to PST crashes powershell

The subject pretty much says it all. On a Windows XP SP2 workstation, with
Outlook 2007 installed, and the Exchange 2007 SP1 management tools. Any
attempt to export a user's mailbox (via export-mailbox) to a PST file causes
powershell to crash. I've done it twice, and sent the crash results to MS
both times, but was hoping that maybe someone out here has encountered this
before. The EMS is running under alternate credentials, which is both an
organization admin, domain admin, and even a local admin on the workstation.
The event log shows nothing except for the "faulting application" message
from the crash, which isn't very helpful. Anyone have any advice?
