Message archiving not capturing all email?

Hi,

On an Exchange 2003 server I configured message archiving on the
default mailstore by entering a newly created mailbox (mailjournal).
All messages seem to go into the mailbox except when composing a
message in Outlook and selecting another From address and sending to
an external email address. These messages are sent out, but are not
journaled in the mailjournal mailbox.

Am I missing something or is this as it supposed to work?
