As Susan stated, look at PFDAVAdmin...it is a wonderful tool and will help
you greatly with the mapi permissions.

Hello,
I hope someone can help me out as I am somewhat new to working with
exchange. I am an admin using exchange 5.5. The company I am working for
has
been using this for some time now and there are a number of folders that
have
been made before I accepted this position. Some of the folders in the
public
folders store are set up with a permissions tab, and there are a few that
need to be accessed which are showing the options of "general, Homepage
and
Summary tabs" in the summary tab there is a "permissions" option, but
there
are no owners listed in there.
As it currently stands even when I am in System Manager I am unable to
delete and of the emails inside those folders. We have one that is
accumulating a large number of messages (currently over 40,000) and I
really
need to clean it up. When I am in system manager I have managed to put
myself
in the "Administrative Rights" section of the permissions. But every time
I
try to access "Client Permissions" I always get the message "Your profile
is
not configured. An unexpected, unknown error as occurred. Microsoft
Exchange
Server Information Store ID no: 8004011c-0521-00000000. Id no: c1050000
Exchange System Manager". I have tried looking up the error to find an
easy
way to fix this situation. I believe that if I can access the client
permissions I might be able to make myself an owner of the folder from
System
Manager.
If someone can help me I would really appreciate it. I might need some
walking through as I am still fairly new to this version of exchange.
Thanks
again, I appreciate any help that can be offered.
