Move it back to the original store let it error and choose purge. Also
there is a patch to prevent subsequent issues. If that doesn't work
set mailbox retention to 0 and let background clean up run.

I've seen this occasionally too.  Usually running the mailbox management
task will complete the cleanup of the old box.  If it's showing disconected
(red X) then it shouldn't be a worry.  If it's showing still as a connected
mailbox it may indicate the move is failing.

Why is that some mailboxes are not been deleted from the original server?
