Re: Message bouncing between two servers

what do the message tracking logs say about what is happening?

Where is the DL expansion taking place in relation to the mailbox server?

Hi James,

Basically she is a member of a group that is nested in one that sends to the
whole organisation. (ie. departmental universal group, nested within company
universal group).

She doesn't have any other email addresses or contacts within AD.

We don't send out global messages very often but we get this everytime we
send to the company universal group. I have removed her and re-added her to
the group but we still get the same message. I have also added her user
object to the company global group but still no joy. Unfortunately because
of the number of users that are in her departmental group and the company
group, we can't just test it, so we can only check it when we send a global
message to the group.

There is nothing wrong with her inbox as she receives all other types of
mail ok, both internal and external.

It's a bit of a strange one.

Thanks

Graham

Does this happen only when sending to this particular group and not
other groups that she's a member of? Does this group also have other
nested groups that shes a member of? Does this user have any legacy e-
mail addresses that are uneeded or do you have any contact objects for
her that is mail enabled?
