I'm getting an error "The security certificate on the server is not valid.
Contact your Exchange Server administrator or ISP to install a valid
certificate on the server. Support code: 80072f0d".
I am the Exchange Server administrator - for better or for worse.
We're attempting to sync/setup a Motorola Q9c mobile phone and we receive
this message on the laptop and on the phone. When using Outlook Web Access
(OWA) we've just downloaded a certificate (I think, but it's been months...)
and we were fine. Now we're using ActiveSync v4.5 and receive the above
message.
How do we resolve this message so that we can sync with Outlook, Exchange
and sync our mobile phone's files?
Where'd you get the SSL cert you use on your Exchange server? Is the
CA trusted by your SmartPhones and laptops?
