Exchange 2007 Disaster Recovery Suggestions

Does anyone have experience in setting up disaster recovery systems?
What I am looking for is suggestions in a successful scenarios of
people setting up disaster recovery systems and what they used.
I have been reading the clustering and other third party software that
does it.
But looking for the publics opinion on what works and what doesn't.
