Hello. You can also create a batch file with all the commands pre-configured
and run this with time and date stamps and pipe it to a file, so you can get
a sense for how long the defrag takes. It's good to show management that
your system will process, how many GB/hour. You don't have to worry about
the syntax in the wee hours of the night, if this is to be done at nightime,
b/c you will have the commands and syntax in the batch file. time, date
pauses, syntax, etc. It makes the life of an Exchange Admin easier. I hope
this helps.

Hi:
I want to do an offline defrag for Exchange (Never did it before) and
was
wondering if someone would supply me with the command line to do this.
Here's what I need:
When I use the eseutil I want to do an offline defrag and have the temp
file
be directed to another drive. This drive is an USB 2.0.
If it possible what is the exact command line assuming the exchange is
in
the default location and the USB drive is drive F:
Thanks,
Charles
