that sounds really bad...is there anything in your event logs referring to
any hardware issues? can you backup the store with ntbackup?

Hi There,
I need to run maintenance on our exchange server. It is Exchange 2003 on
SBS 2003. I have dismounted the databases and want to copy them to another
location for backup purposes. I then want to run some tests on the actual
databases as the backup won't run because it says they are corrupt.
When copying the priv.edb file i receive the error "Cannot Copy priv1:
Data Error (cyclic redundancy check) I have stopped all exchange services
as well but it copies about three quarters and this message pops up. Any
thoughts?
.
