Yep emails don't just get deleted on their own. The fact that these are
shared mailboxes it makes troubleshooting more complex as you have to check
more then one machine...

sounds to me like a rule is moving the message maybe to a pst file
somewhere...

Yes Susan. Sometimes, even after moving the e-mails from "Recover Deleted
itesm" it will again disappear. I will need to recover it again.

Thank you. Checked all the three. They are fine. This is not just with
one
mailbox. It happes in couple of mailboxes.

1. Check if someone is performing the Outlook auto-archiving. This
would
also delete and transfer emails to a local PST.

2. Check if you have any Mailbox Manager policies configured that
might
be
deleting emails.

3. Check any third party software that might be installed either at
the
Exchange server or at client machines (such as Outlook extensions).

I checked, they are not downloading to PST. There are also no rules
to
delete
e-mails.

Most likely someone is connecting to the mailbox and downloading
the
emails
to a local PST. Check how the users are connecting to the shared

In couple of our shared mailboxes we keep getting cases for
e-mail
getting
disappeared. When checked, found that the e-mails were deleted.
This
happens
in most of the shared mailboxes.

Is there any reason on why this is happening?
