manoa,
let me guess, you just patched your server with the 6666 devil patch.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926666/en-us
i had the same problem here with my bes server as well
you can read this up at blackberry support.
http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB04707&sliceId=SAL_Public&dialogID=80944845&stateId=1%200%2080940746
what i did was uninstall the KB926666 patch. it is fixed after that.
regards,
zhi

Your BESAdmin account should be a member of Domain Users, *not* a Domain
Admin.
The BES installation instructions have detailed information on how to
grant the necessary Send As permissions for the Users container based on
your Exchange version.

I am configuring a Blackberry Ent Server for my E2k3. In the installation
instruction, it states to give the BES service account the "send as
permission" for all user account in the User container. I trying to find
out
the best and quickest way to give this one account the "send as
permission"
for all the users. Should I just use the built in group Domain Users and
give the new account I created the "send as permission"?
.
