Re: How to send emails using different domain

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

From the exchangepedia.com site you gave me I see the only solution is the
ChooseFrom utility. It's a pain having to use a 3rd party application for
this :(

Again, is this user with 2 different proxy addresses / aliases?
Or 2 user accounts with different mailboxes?
One AD account cannot "own" or be associated with 2 mailboxes at the same
time. The account may have one mailbox, and Send As permissions on other
mailboxes. Or it may have different email addresses / aliases.
Both cases have been outlined in my prev response - I'm suspecting it's a
user with different email addresses.

Let's say I have user with two domains in the same EX server:
joe@xxxxxxxxxxx
joe@xxxxxxxxxxxx
Same user, two domains. domainA.com is the default, so all his outgoing
emails show joe@xxxxxxxxxxxx

How do I allow him to send an email from joe@xxxxxxxxxxx

Not sure what exactly you're trying to do...

Scenario1: A user has multiple email addresses (aka "proxy addresses")
from
same/different domain.
HOW TO: Send as alternate email address
http://exchangepedia.com/blog/2007/04/how-to-send-as-alternate-email-address.html

Scenario 2: A user with address foo@xxxxxxxxxxx is trying to send message
*as another recipient* foo@xxxxxxxxxxx (like a separate mailbox-enabled
user/Public Folder/Distribution Group... ):
Assign Send As permission on the DomainB recipient to the DomainA
recipient.

I have 3 domains in my organization. 1 of them is the default of course
and
all emails always come out from that domain.
But what can I do if I want to send an email from a different domain?
If I change the from address on outlook, I get an Undeliverable
stating:
"You are not allowed to send this message because you are trying to
send
on
behalf of another sender without permission to do so. Please verify
that
you
are sending on behalf of the correct sender, or ask your system
administrator
to help you get the required permission. "

How can I make this happen?
