Do you know if there is a hotfix from Microsoft for this?

If not any idea when Exchange 2003 SP3 is scheduled to be released?

Hello Customer,

Thank you for update.

As I know, for this issue, we only need to uninstall IE7. Otherwise, please
wait for the Exchange 2003 sp3, maybe it will fix this issue.

How To Uninstall IE7

1. Try to remove using add/remove programs

Click Start and then click Control Panel
Click Add or Remove Programs
Scroll down the list and select Windows Internet Explorer7 and then click
"Change/Remove"

2. Remove using uninstaller for IE7

Click Start and then click My Computer
Open the local hard drive containing Windows
Open the Windows folder
Make sure you have the system set to show hidden files and folders
Click to open the "ie7" folder and then click to open the spuninst folder
Now click on spuninst.exe to run the uninstaller

***You may also run the uninstaller using a command***

Click Start and then run
%windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe, and then press ENTER.
Note: %windir% is the location of your Windows directory, which can usually
be found at C:\Windows. To do this, you need to have "view hidden folders"
enabled.

3. Using the uninstall Tool Kit (If the customer is able to go online using
IE7, windows explorer or any other browser on this computer )

Download the uninstall tool kit from the link
<http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=671baf16-52a3-410c
-85a8-931ea6de5ff8&DisplayLang=en>

4. Use system restore

Click Start and then All programs. Then click Accessories and then System
tools.
Click to launch system restore
Attempt to restore system back to before IE7 installation

5. Remove using Recovery Console
Insert the Windows XP startup disk into the floppy disk drive, or insert
the Windows XP CD into the CD-ROM drive, and then restart the computer.
**** if the customer is using a win XP CD .. Check for the type of windows
XP CD the customer has (make sure it s not a recovery CD )

Press any key when the option "Press any key to boot from CD ¡." appears

When the "Welcome to Setup" screen appears, press R to start the Recovery
Console.

If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot computer, select the installation
that you must access from the Recovery Console.

When you are prompted, type the Administrator password. If the
administrator password is blank, just press ENTER.

After entering the recovery console, type the following commands and press
enter after each:

CD ie7\spuninst
batch Spuninst.txt

I hope these steps will give you some help.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Best regards,

Terence Liu(MSFT)
