The error message in exchange system manager occurrs when I try to go to
folders --> public folders. The message is:
Exchange System Manager
The operation completed successfuly
Facility: Win32
ID No: C0070000
Exchange System Manger
In exchange baseline analyzer the health check produces the following
critical issue:
Site folder delted
The site-wide public folder database group 'company' has been deleted.
Current public folder store: CN=Public Information Store {Server}\
DEL: bunch of alpha number values, CN=Deleted Objects, CN=Configuration,
DC=X, DC=Y, DC=COM.
I changed the values that I need to keep provate.
As far as the ADC goes. I can remove the ADC since they are only uded for
5.5 connections is that correct? They have nothing to do with Exchange 2003>
ISt here a benefit to switching to native mode verse mixed in exchange 2003.
This I assume has nothing to do with our domian mode since we're in a mixed
mode windows 2000 domain enviroment?

Hello Customer,.
Thank you for update.
I would like to explain that ADC (active directory connector) is only used
to sync between Exchange 5.5 and AD. If there is no longer 5.5 server in
your organization, please simply remove the ADC from Control Panel.
Note: The SRS should be removed before you uninstall ADC. Otherwise the
Config_CA associated to the SRS become ghosted object in Active Directory
and we don't have a way to remove it.
1. Start ESM.
2. Remove the SRS object.
3. After all the SRSs have been deleted, remove the Active Directory
Connector (ADC) service.

Additional, after you remove the ADC, I suggest you convert the exchange
from Mixed Mode to Native Mode.

For the error message in event log and exchange BPA (best practices
analyzer), please copy the completely event log and message to let me know
the detail information.
I hope these steps will give you some help.
Thanks and have a nice day!

| I removed the two old 5.5 srver following the steps outlined in the
following
| article you had provided http://support.microsoft.com/?id=328668. This
| worked great. The two servers no longer appear in system manger.
|
| I uncovered a few errors now. In exchange systems manger when I go to
the
| folders group i get a error message. The message is exchnage system nager
|
| the operation completed successfuly.
| facility: win32
| ID no: c00700000
| Exchange system manger.
|
| Also when i run exchange best practices analyser I get a critical error
| reagrding the site server folder deleted. It appears the public
information
| store appears to be on one of the old delted 5.5 servers which i'm not
sure
| how this happened since it hasn't been running in years.
|
| Also I'm seeing two active directory connector that list one of the old
5.5
| servers as the exchange server. Should I delete these.
