SP1 thinks I'm running 32 Bit Exchange 2007

Greetings,
On my first attempt at upgrading my Exchange 2007 server to SP1, I get
a message that says "You are running the 32 bit version of Microsoft
Exchange on a 64 bit platform. Please run the 64 bit version
instead."
We've never installed 32 Bit Exchange 2007 or any eval version of
Exchange 2007 for that matter so I'm not sure why it believes that I'm
running the 32 bit version. This is a large diverse forest with about
a dozen Exchange 2003 servers and just 3 Exchange 2007 servers. None
of the 2007 stuff is in production yet but they're all licensed 64 bit
installations.
In the Management Console, the version of this server shows as Version
8.0 (Build 685.25).
Am I missing something obvious?
