Re: OAB URL missing from autodiscovery.xml?

Mike,

I see the 401 Unauthorized error which leads me to beleive this could be a
permissions issue. Have any changes been made to IIS?

If there's a CAS server in the same ex2007 org, do they need to be
configured exactly the same? When I run my test autoconfiguration, it
pulls from the 'correctly' configured CAS server. We have another CAS
server live, but not configured.

==============================================================================================

looking at the IIS logs on the CAS server, theres no GET commands for the
OAB

=============================================================================================

I cannot choose the text on the log tab. It does give 3 entries:

attempting.....
autodiscover to.................. starting
autodiscover to...... succeeded (0x000000000)

Can you run the Test Email Autoconfiguration on an Outlook Client and
select the Log tab and post the results?

I get a 401 error when trying the URL defined by the
get-oabvirtualdirectory cmd.

How do I fix this?

Thanks

So, from Exchange Server IE can you go to
https://exchangeservername/oab? If you need the exact internal url run
from Powershell cmdlet Get-OabVirtualDirectory.

We haven't made any changes to our Exchange 2007 environment.

Outlook 2007 clients cannot download the OAB ( as what's supposed
defined in the autodiscovery.xml file) this is determined by the
output of the 'test email autoconfiguration' feature in Outlook 2007.

Is there a way to get this back?

Thanks,
Mike Bonvie
