RE: Connection Settings for RPC over HTTP

Terence,

I know how to configure it. I wanted to know on a fast connection the best
combination of options for optimal configuration. I am having an issue with
Outlook taking a long time to respond when hitting reply. Otherwise
everything else is fine.

Thanks,

Hello Customer,

Thank you for posting here.

According to your description, I understand that you want to know how to
configure the RPC over HTTP. If I have misunderstood the problem, please
don't hesitate to let me know.

Based on my research, I suggest we try the following steps to see if we can
resolve this issue:

How to Create an Outlook Profile for Users to Use with RPC over HTTP
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996069.aspx

How to Deploy RPC over HTTP for the First Time on Exchange Server 2003, No
Front-End Server, Back-End on Global Catalog Server
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125001.aspx

Additional, this is mostly a Outlook client side issue. I suggest you try
to create a new Outlook profile and then configure the RPC over HTTP again
to see if it help.

I hope these steps will give you some help.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Best regards,

Terence Liu(MSFT)
