You should be able to mount the old databases on your rebuilt SBS
Server.
Not if it's a different server name, domain name, paths, etc....
In ESM go to your First Storage Group and make sure to check
'this database can overwritten by restore". Shut down your Exchange
Info Store then copy your old databases to the MDBDATA directory. Now you
can start your Information Store which will mount the
databases. You will now need to perform a cleanup by right clicking
your Mailboxes in ESM and selecting Run Cleanup Agent. Now all
mailboxes will have Red X on them. You can simply right click each
mailbox and reconnect to user accounts.

I have a sbs 2003 system that i had a backup of. I had a system
failure so I
reinstalled the os and restored from the backup. Only problem was
the server
just crashed after the restore process. I tried it a couple of
times but no
luck. So I ended up rebuilding the server from scratch. Problem is
I have
alot of info in the exchange store. Is there anyway to recover this
data. I
have copies of the stores. But how do I mount them are restore the
mail and
contact info. Please Help.
