Exchange 2003, how to delete SMTP mail queue in bulk?

Hi,
We have Exchange 2003 server. Until now our SPAM filter/AV box was
misconfigured to send a courtesy email to the sender if virus or rejected
attachments found. This caused a denial of service on our own server by
filling up outbound mail queue. The queue is sorted by each domain and there
doesn't seem to search all messages and delete. I have to go to individual
domain -> search and then delete. Since the queue is very very big, I was
hoping there is a way to stop the exchange 2003 services and delete what's
in queue folder if possible.
Would it be safe to do so? Will it clear my queue in exchange service
manager?
Thanks,
Sam
