Re: Outlook Anywhere

Andy,

Thanks so much for your help. I did the same (SSL enrolling) on a lab environment and it worked fine, though no 2003 servers involved only 2007 from scratch. Anyway, I'll follow your advice and report later if it helped.

Thanks again

Yea, but this isnt Exchange 2003 :)

The certificate subject names (CNs) are:

ServerName
ServerFQDN
autodiscover.domain.com
mail.domain.com
Is there any significance to the order? I also enabled SSL on the RPC
Virtual Folder in IIs.

You should use Powershell to enable and apply and verify certificates
with Exch 2007.

Hi

I have an Exchange server (2003) which is also a DC/GC. On that
server I
configured RPC over HTTPS. All worked fine and external users
could connect via Outlook. Now, I'm in the transition to 2007. I
issued a
certificate to the IIs website (2007) and tested it with OWA.
All is working fine and there are no certificate prompts. I also
added
I moved all mailboxes to the 2007 server and configured Outlook
Anywhere. Now, when I try to connect via Outlook Anywhere and enter
the user's credentials, the password prompt keeps poping and I
can't
connect with Outlook Anywhere.
I removed the RPC component from the GC server and disabled the IIs
services. The password prompt keeps poping.

HAve you configured everything correctly and enabled the certs with
Powershell?
