That should work without modification.

Hi All,
Should I be able to access an Exchange mailbox on a back-end server in
oneAdministrativeGroupby logging onto a front-end server in a
differentAdministrativeGroup? If so, should it just work or do I
need to make some config changes? I couldn't find much info on this
particular subject.
All Exchange servers are in the same domain and runnning Exchange 2003
sp2.
Thanks!- Hide quoted text -

It looks like there may be a piece of the puzzle missing as this
doesn't seem to be working. If I log onto a mailbox that is on the
back-end server that is in the same admingroupas the front-end
server, everything seems OK. I get the normalOWAlogon screen, enter
username (domain not needed) and password, and I am in. If I log onto
a mailbox on the back-end server in a different admingroup, I get the
normalOWAlogon screen, enter username and password, I get the
message, "You could not be logged on to Outlook Web Access. Make sure
your domain\user name and password are correct, and then try again".
I used this articlehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/555053when I
originally set up the environment several months ago. I just
installed this other Exchange server in a new admingroupthe other
day. I haven't made any other changes.- Hide quoted text -

We are using forms-based authentication. All of the users are in the
same domain.
