I've never seen a client that supports a secondary SMTP server.

I understand. The SMTP Server is configured, also do I have to configure
secondary SMTP virtual server, if so how? Is there any documentation. How
outgoing emails working? please let me know.

IMAP isn't used to send mail; it's a protocol to retrieve mail from a
mailbox on a server. IMAP clients typically send using SMTP.

we have been having problems setting up IMAP on exchange 2003. I have
configured the IMAP on exchange, also created successfully IMAP profile
on
outlook and able to see all the emails, but when trying to send emails
it
is
not working. It just sits in outbox and stays there. ANy help would be
greatly appreciated. I have configured this foe default IMAP.
