Spam Server on Exchange Server?

Hello.

I have a feeling there is a rouge service living on my Exchange '03 server dealing out Spam mails in-house.
(My SMTP Queue has many non-deliverable messages Local messages and we're being slammed with spam from masked with internal user names.)

Is there a procedure or tool that will confirm or deny my hunch as well as possibly remove it if needed?
