running everything from the same box.. it requires the SMTP service.
And how does Exchange 2007 not have a SMTP service?
Exchange 2007 uses the new Hub Transport role, which is built into
AD.. so there is no default virtual smtp service and installing one
can cause serious harm to the system.
GFI pages specifically state that they support Exchange 2007, that's
good enough for me.
