Okay, how would you propose that they know that a particular piece of mail
belongs to your Exchange server if not through entries in the directory? If
you don't want to add directory entries to their directory then the only
other way I can see to do it is through a subdomain or different domain.

If you don't mind changing your e-mail domain, then your question is

Thats what I am wanting to prevent. I realize it would be easy to just use
a different email domain. I am trying to get the front end exchange
servers for @company.com to direct mail for our my users to my exchange
server. We are in seperate cities with a VPN connection between them. The
original plan was to make a child domain, child.company.com. I have been
questioned as to why I would want to do things that way. I am looking for
a good solid option to getting email with @company.com onto our exchange
server without having to give the parent office access to anything else on
our network.
