Exchange 2007 requirements system wise for Edge Transport/ Can antivirus and antispam go on a non-edge server too?

Does anyone know the minimum/recommended specs for the Edge Transport
server?

IE: Is it only a member of a workgroup.. Does it require 64bit Server
2003 as well? Recommended ram and system specs?

Also.. should we decide to hold off on the Edge idea.. can we install
antivirus and antispam on the main box instead?

IE: Brightmail 6.0x and Forefront Security (is there a better
antivirus alternative? we have TrendMicro SMB 3.6 which wont work with
2k7 right now)?

(will forefront security install on the main box and is the full
license included in the standard edition of 2007, ie: action pack)?

Thanks

.
