I need to restrict contact information from the GAL in Outlook and OWA (Exchange 2003)

Here is the problem, I will try to be complete. We are running
Exchange 2003 on three servers, Two back end and one front end. I have
staff on one server and students on the other. I need to restrict the
students from seeing the phone numbers and addresses on the GAL and
OWA. They need to see the Name, email address etc. But all of the
other information needs to be blocked from the students, but not the
staff. I have tried locking down the GAL but have not had any success
using the ACLs. I can block the entire record, but then I have nasty
blanks in the GAL, and the students can not see the name of the
individual. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for any help!!
