Re: OAB not updated with Global address list (Exchange 2007)

Thanks guys,

You're right the email attribute in a.d. didn't match the exchange.

These users had a different primary email address compared to the A.D. email
address.

Once I updated that it worked.

Thanks guys.

I'm having issues with my offline address book. I've been trying to
update
it through out the day today by going to the emc and updating the offline
address book. but everytime i remove the OAB files on my computer and
then
download it again in outlook 2003 it still shows a bunch of missing
contacts.

Dave - If yo uhave users that are not showing up its because they are not
stamped with the necessary attributes or they are being skipped because of a
problem.

The only time I see all the contacts in the GAL is when I remove cached
exchange mode. But I'm trying to avoid that as much as possible because I
don't want to put a strain on my server.

Dave - This is because you are going directly to the gal (the ad) for your
data

I also noticed that my internal site for OAB used http://exchange/oab

Dave - This is because that is the url that is stamped on your OAB Virtual
Directory. You will need to changes these to reflect the correct information
have you have added a cname record for autodiscover with your internet
provider if you have not done so already.

but the external used https://

I don't know if that affects anything

Any Suggestions to fixing my OAB to be in sync with the Globabl address
list
would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,

Jackson
