The PTR record should map the IP address to the hostname, and that hostname
should appear in the response banner to the HELO command.

Current setup Exchange 2003 2 node cluster
We have MX records for the virtual exchange name and MX records for both
nodes in the cluster. Our DNS host does not create reverse IP entries
automatically when we create A records.
My question is....
When creating reverse IP entries to avoid spam filters rejecting emails
because there is no reverse IP entry created. What FQDN should I assign
to
the reverse IP entry? The FQDN for the virtual Exchange name (which is an
internal name server.domain.pvt)? Or should it be same as the MX 10
entry?
