you'll be prompted with whether that should be done, or not...

How do I specify that th epolicy be appled for all recepients so that the
SMTP address is changed for everyone not just new users I created from
today
forward?

You cannot delete the Default policy. When you change the policy you

newly created recipients.

I need to make a couple of changes to my exchange enviroment in the
easiest
way possible. Our current SMTP setting is @COMPANY.com. I need to
change
the address to @comapny.com. I then need to changeall the users email
addresses to reflect this change. I aslo want to if possible change
the
users emails addres from the current format of JSmith@xxxxxxxxxxx to
jsmith@xxxxxxxxxxxx IS this even possible without manualy editing
every
user. I've edited the SMTP address in the receipient polcy to change
the
SMTP
address to @company.com. I had two ploicies opne called Company and
one
called Default. Could I just delete the defualt policy and consolidate
into
one policy. After modifying the recipeint policy I expected this
change
to
be reflected in all AD users but nothing has changed.
