Right now we are recommending a maximum of 32GB for heavily used Mailbox servers based on price and performance. More information can be found at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998874.aspx.
Hope this helps.

We have an IBM x3950 with an attached expansion module.
-This totals 8 Dual Core CPU's and 64GB ram.
-The size of the local system disk (raid1) is 70GB.
-Exchange 2007 64bit Enterprise is being installed.
1. Is 64GB of RAM potentially not a good idea?
2. The pagefile needs to be RAM+10MB correct? So we couldn't store the pagefile on the system disk.
3. Can the pagefile be stored on a SAN over iSCSI? In this case the memory dump location would also be redirected to that same disk.
Thanks!
Matt
