My app log is flooded with 9549 entries.
ID:9549
An ambiguous SMTP proxy SystemMailbox{B077C1B4-9C22-4626-9907-C6E111141A4E} was found on 0x2
mailboxes in the DS. The store cannot map this SMTP proxy to a unique Mailbox GUID.
I found a couple of things
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/286792
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926094
But I'm not too convinced they are the exact problem.
When I do a search for all SystemMailbox objects I get a nice list. Every server has one of these SystemMailbox{id} things. But one of the names in the list is weird. Here's the list.
SystemMailbox{9548AF57-D696-4D91-AC18-85BE3FD1B21A}
SystemMailbox{B077C1B4-9C22-4626-9907-C6E111141A4E}
SystemMailbox{B077C1B4-9C22-4626-9907-C6E111141A4E}CNF:7133c80c-d977-4d0f-9d4d-f59a0731709f User
SystemMailbox{C02A0912-E300-4FC5-8718-8887EA144FC2}
One name is very strange. I believe this is a corrupt object or something. The MailStore on the server with the error also doesn't show an actual mailbox for that weird Object name. It does show one for the name that is similiar but normal. So it looks like there's a stray object that causes the events.
So can I delete the corrupt object without any problems ?
I read somewhere that SystemMailbox objects will get re-created automatically if you delete them.
Any thoughts ?
Richard
