Have Win2K3 SP2/Exch2003 SP2 on the frontend and Win2K3 SP1/Exch2003 SP2 on
the backend. I tried to enable the CHANGE PASSWORD feature under OPTIONS
when logged in to Outlook Web Access. I was able to successfully show the
button but when we click on it, it states a HTTP Error 404 - File or
directory not found. I looked at the URL it is referring to and is
https://[servername]isadmpwd/aexp2b.asp?https://[servername]/exchange/{username}/?Cmd=close.
I've searched high and low for others that have the same issues. I've tried
pretty much everything.
I installed Outlook Web Access Administration Tool.
All articles say that enabling the change password feature in OWA should
enable https://[servername]isadmpwd/aexp2b.asp. Tried it even from within
the firewall with the actual IP and
http://[serveripaddress]isadmpwd/aexp2b.asp and no luck. Have restarted
IISADMIN, Exchange IS and entire server.
Could it be due to the fact the FE has Win2K3 SP2 and BE has Win2K3 SP1?
SSL is enabled...
Thanks in advance...
Have a look in IIS Manager. Do you have a Virtual Directory named IISADMPWD ? If not, add one, and map it to C:\Windows\System32\Inetsrv\IISADMPWD\ . You will need to ensure that running asp scripting is enabled on the VDir.
