How to track the amount of mail coming into a public folder?!?!?

Good Afternoon all!!! Happy Friday!!!!

My Customer Service Manager has come to me to ask if there is a way
track the number of email that hit a public folder within a 24 hour
period. She is trying to design a workflow and measure productivity
for her team. Also, this is a public folder that everyone has access
to, so the number of email in the folder changes from moment to
moment.

Is there any way to track the number of email that hit the pf within a
24 hour period?

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
